About the collaboration

CCB and Odfjell Technology has established an alliance to offer turnkey maritime solutions for energy optimization and emission reduction.

In 1989, Odfjell Drilling moored its first rig to the quay at CCB. Since then, the companies have together carried out close to 30 rig projects at CCB for Odfjell Drilling. After decades of collaboration, it was now a natural step forward to combine 100 years of industry experience to be able to offer our customers the benefits of this in new and growing market areas.

CCB and Odfjell Technology has taken action and has formed an alliance to be able to offer cost-effective turnkey solutions in a market that will require innovative and climate-friendly measures. By combining our expertise and our resources, the alliance with CCB and Odfjell Technology has established a unique position in this market.

With the establishment of Odfjell Technology the company with new and innovative solutions for the industry.

Coast Center Base has long experience and traditions as a yard service provider and has repeatedly proven, that they can add value and help assets owners secure efficient upgrades and services. Coast Center Base as is part of CCB Holding AS, which consist of several companies across Norway with main focus on the marine and oil & gas sector. CCB has about 400 employees and a turnover of about 1 billion nok in 2020. CCB has its main yard and head office at Ågotnes just outside Bergen Norway.

By using tailor-made software and processes, we can effectively identify relevant emission sources and energy consumers on board all types of vessels and installations (screening). A screening as a baseline is the key to further being able to recommend strategic measures for our customer within energy saving, emission reduction and power management.
